lightSource Installation

If you are using a Microsoft operating system other than XP, you may need to add or update the Microsoft Windows Installer service to install lightSource from CD. If you attempted to install lightSource from CD and received an error message, update the Windows Installer Service on your system via the following links.

INSTMSIA.EXE for use only on Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME

or

INSTMSIW.EXE for use only on Windows NT Version 4 SP6 and Windows 2000

Click on the correct link above for your operating system, then choose "open" in the next dialog to add the installer service to your system. If the installer service has already been added to your system, you will be notified and no further action is required, just continue with the installation of lightSource from the lightSource CD.
